There are three different kinds of word searches. Two of them are performed from category main pages - title, and key word. A third, organization name, is explained in Introduction to Search.

Notice title word

It is especially important in notice titles to include words germane to your notice. Anything that is a key identifier, such as an activity name (even though you may have selected a type), or special interest. Keep in mind that notice titles are limited to 70 characters (including spaces).

Key word

Key words are entered into notices at the time of the posting, and are not viewable anywhere, but utilized during searches from the category main page.

Activities
Title word: organization or group name, activity name, location.

Events
Title word: organization or group name, event name, location.

Media
Title word: title of work, organization or group name.

Meetings
Title word: descriptive details.

Merchandise
Title word: descriptive details, company name.

Personals
Key word, Interests: activities enjoyed, intellectual pursuits, hobbies, favorite authors, etc.

Resources
Title word: organization or group name, descriptive details.

Resumes
Key word, Interests, skills: relevant interests and skills.

Services
Title word: business name, descriptive details.
