Welcome to postanotice
We are a public notice posting site - similar to
a bulletin board you might find in a public library - for use by
individuals,
organizations and venues.
Anyone can post a notice in any of
twelve categories.
A goal of postanotice is to create
one space that enhances the
ability of organizations, venues, and individuals to
communicate.
Postanotice
is a project of
ConcernedConnections.org
whose mission is to promote and develop unique and effective
forms of communication, enabling people to bypass various
cultural, economic, and social barriers.
How it works
To post -
go to a category and click
Post.
The only required entries are a Title,
Notice text, and posting Email. You must respond to
the email we send in order to complete the posting. This email
also enables you to edit or delete your notice.
To read notices -
go to a category main page and search notices in
that category, or
from any category, click "Find
notices by organization name, venue, Area of
Interest."
To list an organization, or
venue -
From any category posting page, Click to
search
Org/venue name, to make sure it's not already listed. If not
found, click List the name from the search page, and fill
out the form.
Listing a name enables searches by name, or Area
of Interest, providing increased exposure for those notices.

where progressive groups can show what they do;
individuals can be exposed to new ways they can help and be helped;
individuals posting for other individuals can
find what they want. And it's free.

Who can use postanotice?
Individuals, organizations, and venues - please read our
terms of use.
The only requirement for posting is that you have
an email address.
Organization listings - if you do not locate your
organization, you can List a name by filling
out a
simple form - accessed from an organization search page,
or the posting page from any category
except personals and resumes. Postanotice will complete the listing,
usually
within 24 hours, after which you can post using that name.

We occasionally create notices
representing organizations and venues we feel
merit attention. If you have received notification that you have been listed,
you can easily locate your notice by
name search.
We
work hard to make what we think is a useful and functional
service, and we hope you agree. You can
write us, or use our
questionnaire to tell us what you think.
For organizations
trying to communicate to their members and to the public at
large, postanotice represents two distinct benefits:
Increased exposure - the public can locate
organization notices by category, and by personal interest (Area of Interest).
Organizations and venues can use postanotice as their own bulletin
board, bringing notices together from all categories - e.g.
events, journals, meetings, merchandise, resources, and
services.
Remember, you can
easily edit, or delete notices using links we
email to you.
Just go to
Resend Edit/Del Email.
It is also possible to modify an organization name, or Area
of Interest associated with the name -
contact us by email with the specifics.
