By "Your Own Bulletin Board" we mean that postanotice can act as a bulletin board for your group or organization. You can have the benefits of posting and reading notices, and gaining exposure to the general public.

Your bulletin board

From any main category page, like Events for example, anyone clicking "Find notices by organization name, venue, Area of Interest," and entering an organization name (one that is listed), will be able to bring up all notices posted for that organization - regardless of the category they are posted in.

For example, your group or organization may be involved in some or all of the following:

have social activities,
need volunteers,
put on events,
possibly sell or rent property,
have a job opening,
publish a journal,
have regularly scheduled meetings,
sell merchandise,
represent a resource,
and/or provide a service of some sort.

Probably not date, or have a resume to post, but there are many reasons an organization might wish to communicate with the public and its members. All notices posted for your organization, in all categories, will be presented on one page that everyone can have access to.

Accessibility

If your group or organization has its own web site, you might consider creating a link to postanotice.org. By creating a link, you not only add posting accessibility for your members, but you increase exposure to the public.
