Spam filters

Possibly the most common reason emails do not get through is due to spam filters maintained by email providers. One thing you can do is check to see if there is a way to authorize certain domains or email addresses to be sent to you.

Other issues are incorrectly spelled email addresses, your services computers are busy or down for servicing, or the internet itself is busy: wait to see if your email arrives.

Try opening a new account at one of the Web email providers such as Yahoo, or Google. Many of these services are free and can be set up quickly. We're not trying to point the finger of responsibility away from ourselves, but truth is, most failures to receive email are the result of either a slow network, or some issue with the receiving service.

There are other technical issues impacting email that occur infrequently and are beyond the scope of postanotice help. Contacting your internet provider may be necessary.
