We are concerned about the good works people do, the
personal needs of individuals,
and how all of these combine to shape the communities we live
in.
Our goals
The postanotice bulletin board works to support
communities by providing services and resources to organizations and
individuals. In doing this,
we hope to bring
people closer to each other and to the organizations working in
their communities.
For individuals:
Helping people find what they want – fulfilling
personal needs such as housing, jobs, interests, hobbies, social
activities, dating, economic and support functions.
Providing a comprehensive listing of organization
meetings, local support groups, events, and media, plus offering
the ability to bring all notices posted for a particular area of
interest
together on to one page.
For organizations:
Assisting
organizations in gaining greater exposure, and developing
closer relationships with the public - bringing together
resource-oriented material and personal issues.
Assisting organizations in increasing the level
of interaction amongst their membership.
Bringing good works together so members can see they are
part of a larger community.
Enabling organizations to become more financially
independent.

Sincerity / honesty
In a world dominated by hi-power marketing tools
and the
desire to make a profit, honesty,
in some subtle and not-so-subtle ways, can take a back
seat. We strive to present postanotice in as accurate, clear,
and understandable form as is possible.
Community
We
believe that success in community living can be a natural cure
for many forms of cultural illness that affect us personally.
We support communication that supports
individuals and organizations, while respecting different beliefs
and cultures.
Humor
It's a serious world, so we try to remind ourselves when
we can, of the positive - that a joyful expression can help celebrate the good in life.
Added value
The motivation for
creating postanotice was,
and is, to bring the practical concerns of life
together with more creative and progressive works - to be a
