Notices may be deleted at any time by the person who made the posting. We do reserve the right to remove notices if we feel they are inappropriate for that category, or if they violate our Terms of use.

How many notices may I post?

The short answer is, as many as you wish. However--we request each notice only be posted in one category. For example, an event may involve activities presented by a resource organization, but event is the most appropriate category to place the notice. Keep in mind that activities, events, meetings, and resources can automatically be added to the communities category by clicking a checkbox on the bottom of any of those posting pages.

How can I post without listing my personal email address?

We do provide anonymous email posting. You also have the option of only listing a web site or snail mail postal address. See Security & privacy in Help.

What if I did not receive the email to complete the posting?

Wait a little longer--sometimes email hosting, or the internet, or our service may experience heavy use and be slow.

Try posting again.

Double check the email address spelling.

Lastly, try opening a new account at one of the Web email providers such as Yahoo, or Google.

What if I don't see my notice after I post it?

Under some circumstances it can take minutes for a posting to show up due to traffic on the internet, or within your internet provider. Also you may have to refresh your browser after you create a posting. To do this, press the F5 key on your keyboard.

How do I add a picture to my notice?

Locate the graphic file from the posting page and click "upload." Files should have a jpg or gif extension, and be 20 kilobytes or smaller.

Are there notices that are not permitted?

Postanotice reserves the right to exclude notices that promote violence, hate, or those that might place us (at postanotice) in legal jeopardy. For other detailed information, please read Terms of use in Help.

What if I see a notice that I think is inappropriate, dishonest, or distasteful?

Tell us about it. The actions we can take may be limited, but we can remove notices and provide limited assistance in resolving some issues.

Each notice contains links you can use to report notices you feel are miscategorized, prohibited by our terms of use, or some form of spam (advertising for the sake of advertising).

Can I link to a web site from my notice?

Yes. You may include a web site url on your notice if it pertains to the information you are posting, e.g. an event notice to an organization Web site.

Are certain job notices unacceptable?

We do not permit pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or working arrangements that require a fee to be paid.
