Postanotice is a public bulletin board enabling individuals to post notices in any of twelve categories. We also provide some unique services that support organizations, their members, and the work they do. Organizations and individuals can post notices for specific needs - everything from merchandise to jobs. Organizations can also post informational notices that form comprehensive listings of events, media, meetings, and a wide range of resource functions. Notices can be viewed by category, the community you live in (Zip code), by organization name, and by area of interest. We help organizations increase visibility Individuals cross paths with organizations: anyone posting for activities, dating, jobs, and housing, can also see an organization's notices for activities, housing, jobs, events, journals, meetings, and resources. We make it easy to search for notices by organization name, or by an organization's area of interest. For members, this means having the ability to bring all notices for their organization together on one page. For visitors, it offers an easy way to locate organizations representing individual areas of interests. How to search Click Find notices by organization name, venue, Area of Interest on any main page. Then enter an organization's name, or select an "Area of Interest," and click "Search." Bringing all notices from one organization together, regardless of the category they are in, effectively gives each organization its own bulletin board - one that is accessible to the general public as well as to members. Post so people can find your organization's notices On posting pages - assuming you are authorized to post for an organization - simply "Click to search" Org/venue name, and then create your notice. If you do not locate your organization's name, you can have it added by filling out the form accessed from the posting page. We will email you when it is listed - usually within 24 hours. Note: make sure the name really isn't listed--search by using a part instead of the entire name, to make certain an alternate had not previously been used. Even something as small as an apostrophe, included when previously it was left off, creates a different name. Having two names for one organization means not all notices will appear at one time when someone searches for your organization.
